It i.s the intention ol the London people to erect what .will probably be the most up-to-date electric dredge in the Dominion, one capable of putting through a large output. . The London company is interested m mining propositions all over the wo! Id. and has large interests in South' America, Alaska, China, Spam and Australia. ’ This is the first occasion. however, on which it has been induced to operate in New Zealand, q u t live results of prospecting and bores on the property over which it ims an option have been so favourable that it has exercised its option and should commence operations at an early date. This company does not coniine itself to gold-dredging; it also has large interests in tin, copper.. coal, antimony and mining piopositions generally.
