PERSONAL. . (From Our Own Correspondent.) Kiev. C. Aker is at present touring through Taranaki lecturing and conducting ten days’ home mission services. . , Mrs. A. T. Christensen is at present indisposed. . Mrs. H. A. Green is suffering from influenza. Misses Edna Julian and Jean McMeekin are at present spending a holiday in Christchurch. Much . sympathy was felt for Mr. Claude Stevens when it w r as known that his little daughter, Josephine Olive, aged 8 years, had passed away at the Patea hospital after a short illness. The funeral left the Patea hospital on Friday, when the schoolchildren were' present as a mark of respect to their little playmate. Among the floral emblems was a beautiful wreath from the teachers and scholars of the Patea school. Rev. O. Gibson officiated at the graveside. Little Beth Fraser, daughter ol Mr. and Mrs. D. Fraser, had the ims■iortune to fall from a playmate s pony and to sustain a fracture of the right arm.
