WAR FUNDS.

R.S.A. SATISFIED WITH DISTRIBUTION. (Ivy Teleeraob —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Sept. 21. The Executive Standing Committee of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers’ Association recently considered . the criticism of some members of Parliament that the distribution of the funds by Patriotic Soeietys had not been as liberal mit should have been. The Standing Committee was unanimously of the opinion that the criticism was not justified. It was satisfied that the funds at ail times had been generously disbursed within the limits of the trusts. A further £SOOO had been made available by the National War Funds Council to provide relief for out-of-work soldiers, a contingency possibly not contemplated bv the original doners. The additional £SOOO which has been made available for that purpose this winter was a generous allowance.
