GIRL GUIDES.

BROWNIE 'TRAINING WEEK A number of Guiders met at St. Mary’s Hall yesterday afternoon and evening to participate in the Brown Owl training under Miss 'C. OARorke, Eagle Owl. Great enthusiasm in this branch of the work is being shown by the Guiders of the .South Taranaki division. Mrs E. A. Pacey, president of the Hawera Association, and Mrs J. R. Corrigan, vice-president, attended the afternoon session.

To-day the training is being continued at the Oh awe Beach, where Miss O’Rorke is conducting a long week-end camp.
