The Empire Parliamentarians arrived at Vancouver this morning, embarking immediately for Victoria. Lord Peel, discussing immigration, declared that England did noit want the Dominions to accept itlie hnemployoibles. Ho saw no great trek of Britishers to Canada and there was no need for hurrying the growth of Canada. One hundred years from now the Empire would be at the outset of its career. Canada would then be the most important unit. He expected that great good would , come from the Empire Marketing 'Board, but. he saw no prospect of changes in the British tariff preferences.
