Senator Bayne is forwarding to. the Bradford Woollen Miaaniifaeturers.’ Association an iniviitaUdoii with the object of inducing manufacturers to visit Tasmania and investigate, at first hand, the possibilities there. . He will inform them of the inducements the Tasmanian Gtovernment offer to secondary industrialist's. . Senator Payne is eulogistic concerning the value of the Inter-Parliament-ary Conference he attended at Berlin and said that it was a magnificent adjunct to the League of Nations. An exchange of views between parliamentarians of the world, would help to cement international relationships. There was an unanimous peace sentiment amongst the eight hundred delegates. , 'Senator Bayne will endeavour to form an Australian branch of the Association, so that Australia will send representatives to the annual conference. He declared that German bos pitality was phenomenal. j
