SPRING FLOWER SHOW AND

SALE OF WORK

Record entries are expected for the annual flower show and .sale of work to foe held on September 19 and 20 in the Winter Show Buildings. The committee mot last night, to make final arrangements. A partcular feature will be the demonstration concerts of child winners at the Competitions, organised) by Misses Huggins and Instone and Mrs Graham. The items will incrade instrumental, vocal, elocutionary, and dancing. In addition there wilt be a _ Baby Show run by Mrs F. C. King in the I afternoon. But a novel feature that is the men’s beauty competition. The crowning of the “king” will take place on the second night. The stalls as usual will be packed with article® designed to attract buyers, and are certain to do good buslines®. The season is good for flowers and blooms and the display is expected to ba the the best yet made by rthe committee. . Schedules and all particulars are availably from the honorary secretary or any member of the committee.
