The Aorangi, which has arrived at Suva from Vancouver enroute for Auckland, has on board Sir Joseph Ward. Tom Heeney and his wife and three brothers. The Heeneys are the guests at Suva of the Hon. and Mrs. Alport Barker. Suva made Tom Heeney a presentation at the Town Hall this afternoon, and he was farewelled by one of the largest crowds that ever assembled on the wharf, including seamen of the cruiser Dunedin, who performed a liaka. A message from Ko.neas City states that Mr Frank Eldrldge Webb (San Francisco) and Senator James A. Eeed (Kansas Citv) have been selected as the Farmer-Labour Party’s candidates for president and vice-president.
