Gambrill, of -the Wellington Golf Club, to-day won the Miramar Club ladies’ open championship by defeating Miss V. Upham, the holder, by 1! up and 9. HAWERA MEN’S CLUB. THE CHAMPIONSHIPS. The local golf championships were advanced further on Wednesday, when in the seniors J. Quin beat Corfe, doing 38 on the outward journey and including five threes, while L. Hunt beat C. Robb, jun. These results mean that O’Callaghan and Quin play off in the final of the seniors and L. Hunt and Dalgetty in the juniors.
