' SYDNEY Sept. 5. ’ The worship of the exposed Host, inaugurated at St. Patrick’s Church;, Sydney, by the Papal Legate, Cardinal Ceretti. was a remarkable scene. Outside the church thousands of worshipper? who were unable to gain admission knelt in the street, following the mass with the. help of amplifiers. The scene outside tbe chuirch wais j-onderful. A? fFe wave of devotion spread' from the church to the kneeling crowd® outside even men driving carts crossed themselves. Tt was one of the most remarkable scenes of devotion ever witnessed in Svdney. and one in which prelates from all countries of the world took part.
