The body of Mr. Goldstein, a member of the Legislative Assembly, was found on the rocks at Coogee this afternoon. Mr. Goldstein, who had been in ill-health for some time, was missed from his home this morning. FA PAL LEGATE’S LEVEE, SYDNEY, Sept. 3. The Papal Legate’s levee at the Town Hall was largely attended by a representative gathering. The hall was beautifully decorated with the Papal colours. Cardinal Ceretti was entluonecl in the middle of the hall, taking homage from the slowly-moving crowds as they passed. There were no .speeches, the crowds silently paying tribute to the head of the Catholic Church in Australia and New Zealand. ATTEMPT TO BEAT HINKLER’S RECORD. SYDNEY, Sept* 3. The aviator Keith Anderson, who was to leave Sydney early on Tuesday in an endeavour to fly to London in 1-1 days, and thus beat Bert Hinkler’s record flight from London to Australia, lias postponed his departure indefinitely. Anderson has had considerable experience on active service and in England with the Royal Flying Corps. BILLIARDS. SYDNEY, Sept, 3.
