DANNEVIRKE LADIES’ TOURNEY
(By Telegraph —Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, Aug. 22. The Dannevirke ladies’ golf tournament which was postponed yesterday on account of bad weather was opened to-day under .perfect climatic conditions. Mrs. Collinson (Palmerston North) headed the qualifying round for the championship with »b----won her matc-h in the. first roiind by one un after a close game with Mrs. Holden (Dannevirke). In the Tahoraite Handicap semifinals. Miss Drummond (Dannevirke) pi avs Miss Ormond (Napier)., and Mrs Spiers (Napier) plays Miss Vincent (Featherston).
