MATCH FOR NOPERA CUP. (By Tekgraph—Press Association.) DANNEVIRKE, Aug. 22. Beautiful weather favoured the outdoor games to-d'ay. In the ladies’ hockey match for the Nopera Cup the Dannovirkc Ruahine team withstood a Manawhtfn •challenge, winning ,by four goals ;to two. Goals were .scored for the winners 'by D. .Foreman, A. McKinnon, A. Gunderson and F. Rendle. For the .losers ®. Duthie scored twice. ’ 'The Dannevicke .Men’s 'Club maintained tlieir season’s unbeaten record by defeating the Feilding Winter Shield challenge by two goals to nil.
