The opening of a passageway between Princes Street a,ml Albion Street by the continuation, past the police station of the path between the eoairtihmilse and the postmaster’s residence has 'been ad reflated for some time by the Hawera Clbamfeer of Grammerce. To-day Mr 15. Dixon (president of the Oh amber). Mr H. D. Dickie, M.P., ill) d Sergeant Henry made an inspection ol the scene and Mr Dickie has undertaken to make representation to the authorities to) harre the passage-way completed.
