Tom Heeney conferred with Tex Rickard to-day, after which the latter stated that Heeney, who is leaving for New Zealand with his wife on Friday will return in January to resume fighting. “I think he will Re welcomed back, too, for I expect him to be one of the biggest drawing cards in our heavy-weight title elimination,” said Mr Rickard.
Heeney is giving a farewell dinner to boxing writers to-morrow.

NEW YORK., Aug. 16. Johnnv (Risko lost on a foul to R'oberto Eoberti, the Italian heavyweight, in the sixith of a scheduled ten-round bout. Eoberti, Who . outweighted Risko by more than 20 pounds, advances to an important position as -contender for Tunney’-s vacated heavy-weight title.
