A closed motor-car traversing Alex,'jimdra Avenue this afternoon apparently missed the turn, as it. plunged down the bank at a -speed of 20 miles an j hour into the Ynrra River. Bubbles were seen coming to the surfare of the water, which is fifteen feet ~ deep, hut some time elfipsed before rescue efforts were undertaken by divers. 1. ,e body of a man was recovered, and [. it was thought there was another man s and a woman in the car. , The body is believed to be that of j a Air Davy, a commercial traveller, p resident at East Malvern. A doctor has declared death was due to heart . failure.
