To-morrow (Friday) evening, at the Ohangai Hall, the grand combined Meremere and Oliangai children’s plain and fancy tlress ball will be held. Extensive preparations are being _ made by the committee under the direction of the energetic hon. (secretary (Mr P. Sheahan). The grand anarch will talc© place at 8 o’clock .and children will' have the floor until 10 o’clock. There will b© prizes for novelty dances. The fourth annual children’ s _ plain and fancv dress ball will be held in the Eltham Town Hall to-morrow (Friday) evening and it is confidently expected there will be a display fully equal to last year’s success. The proceeds will lx* on behalf of the school funds. The hon. secretary (Mr A. R. Kemp) and committee are working hard to ensure success.
