GATHERING AT STRATFORD 1 .

STRATFORD, Aug. 1C
The Taranaki Grocers’ Association held its annual dinner here last night, seventy being present, including membens and their wives from all parts of the province. Mir George Ward, of New Plymouth, presided. Several toasts were proposed and musical l items were given. An address on “Business Pars” was delivered by Mr Simpkiss, of New Plymouth. A most enjoyable evening was spent by those present.
