SOME EXCELLENT SCORES A,T CANADIAN MEETING.
(United Px-ess Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) Received 9.40 a.m. to-day. OTTAWA, Aug. 44. Corporal A. M. Ray, of the Australian Bisley team, won the McDougal'l match of the Canada Rifle Association at Connaught ranges yesterday. Wonderful shooting was continued today in the Walker match, when ten possibles of thirty-five were made at three hundred yards, among thent being Sergeant Harrison (Australia). Sergeant Norman MciLeodi (Toronto) won the Bankers’ match, scoring the possible fifty, on the 200 yards range, followed by forty-nine at the GOO yards, range. Three marksmen made 99 including Sergeant Armstrong (Australia).
