NORTH TEAM CHOSEN. The North Island Rugby team to play the South Island at Christchurch next Saturday was announced, after the Taranaki-Hawke’s Bay game this afternoon by Messrs E. McKenzie, N. McKenzie and W. A. G)iy as follows: —
Full-back: L. Paewai (Auckland). Three-quarters: W. 11. Carlson (Wanganui), L. Hook (Auckland), M. Anderson (Waikato). Five-eighths: A. E. Cooke (Wairarapa), W. Langlands (Poverty Bay).
Half-back: I. Bramwell (Poverty Bay). Rover: C. Porter (Wellington).
Forwards: Palmer (Auckland), Finlayson (Auckland), R. Steer (Hawke’s Bay), M. Willoughby (Wairarapa), W. Batty (Auckland), Knight (Auckland), S. Willoughby (Wairarapa). Emergencies Forwards: K. Reed (Wairarapa). Backs: P. Kemp (Wairarapa) .
