PRINCE OF WALES.
RETURN FROM HIS PILGRIMAGE YiS/r T6> FRENCH FARMHOUSE (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Aug. 9. The Prince of Wales returned to London last night with the first of the pilgrims who have beeno-attending the Britisa Legion' commemoration ceremonies in France and Flanders. The main uody of the pilgrims arrived early today. On his journey to Boulogne yesterday the Prince halted at St. Omer, where he was welcomed by the Mayor and inhabitants of the neighbourhood, in which, during the war, when attached to headquarters, he spent some time, .eater ‘he broke his journey and paid a surprise visit to a farm at which he was billetted during the war for four months. The farmer received him in shirt sleeves, and he and his wife were much affected by the Prince’s act. The Prince readily accepted an invitation to take coffee, which was served in the living room of the farmstead. On reaching Boulogne the Prince visited the British war cemetery at Terlincthun.
