The- Government taxes in retepe-ct or tire trotting inditing this year -amounted to- £2901 Ss, less £250 rebate allowed for expenditure on permanent improvements to the course. The committee do-sire to take this opportunity of expressing its thanks to Mu. honorary and paid officials of the c .]ub for good .services during the year The deaths of two members occurred during the year, tlie late Messrs W. RDouglas and M. Hammond, to the relatives of whom the sympathy of members has been extended. Nominations for the offices of 'president, vice-president and lion, treasurer, not being in excess of the vacancies to b-e filled.’no election will be necessary. For the offices of committee and Howards, nominations- in excess of the number 'required having been received, an election will take -place at the annual general meeting. There are 13 nominations for 11 seats on the committee. and 14 nominations for 11 •steward's required for the year.
