A me?tin”- of the Management Committee of the Taranaki Rugby Union was held at the White Hart Hotel, Hawera. following the representative game yesterday afternoon. There were a resent: Messrs J. McLeod (chairman), W. A. Guy, A. F. Neilson, J. Gar ia, and S. E. Nielson (secretary). The secretary reported having received an intimation from Mr. W. B. Fearon that the' winners of the Hauer a Wednesday division (City) could riot traiel to New Plymouth on August 11 to play in the final series with Tu!:apa, th'> winners of the western division. City were willing, however, to travel to New Plymouth on a Wednesday or meet the western team at Haworn on a Saturday. Okaiawa and Stratford were granted permission to p ay a friendly match at Strat ord on Thursday next as a benerit to*injured players in each team.
