SALEI A(l‘ HAAVERA. ' A\;KR OP 22 GUINEAS. A catalogue of 23 female pedigree Jerseys and- one- yearling -bull was offered on behalf of various vendors by | 1 Messrs Newton King, Ltd., and It. P. Morrissey and C*o. in conjunction, at the FTawera saleyards yesterday, when a very successful sale resulted, the whole catalogue of females being quitted and only the yearling bull being passed. The average over the sale was 22 guineas. A good number of buyers assembled, and bidding thoughout- was- fairly keen, particularly on some of the prominent strains. The top price was- 67 guineas, realised -by the two-year-okl heifer Perofet.ion’s- Golden Lady, sold by Messrs O’Donne!,l Bros., of Hawera, the purchaser being Mrs A. Jagger, of Auckland. Two other females' made 50 guineas and over—O’D'annell Bros. Viola's- Golden Mirnee, which went to the -same purchase t - at 50 guineas, and a splendid eight-year-old cow, Qualifies and heifer calf, sold on behalf of Air R.
