The, eighteenth annual report of the Kakaramea, Co-operative Dairy Company to bo'presented' to the. meeting to-mor-row is as below:
The balance standing .to credit of the appropriation account will provide for a further substantial .payment for butterfat supplied over the season .just closed. Suppliers are as>ked to arrange to deliver their milk at the factory not later than 9 o’clock a.m. during the period from November 1 to February 28. Two directors are required, in place of Messrs J. T. Dwyer and J. D. Fairweather, who retire iby effluxion of time, and are eligible,, for re-election. STATISTICS. Oheeserinaking.—Milk, 11,001,0241 b; fat, 450,330,41 b; average - test, 4.093; pounds pf cheese, 1,211,475; pounds of milk to, pound of cheese, 9.08; pounds of cheese to- pound of fat, 2.688 net. Butter-making—-Pounds of milk, 640,782; pounds of fat, 30,416.6; jioiinds of cream, 64,079; pounds of fat- in ‘cream, 26,903.9; pounds of butter, 64.480; overrun, 19.46; cream test-, .43.5; pounds of whey butter, 29.960. In accordance with the provisions of Section 4 of “U'ajxy Industry Amendment- Act, 1922,”. the auditor, certified : (a) That weight of butter (correct to foiur places of decimals) made from each pound of butter-fat used for the manufacture of butter was 1.19471 b; (b) Tlie percentage which the weight of unsalted butter manufactured bears to the total weight- of butter manufactured—none -made : (c). The weight of cheese (correct, to. two-places of decimals) made from eacli pound of butter-fat used for the manufacture of cheese, 2.691 b. v
