Mr. John Iv. Heughan, organising manager for Mr. William Heugh-an’s world t-our, is at present in town arranging for the .appearance, here of that famous artist and his associates, who are at present engaged in a highly successful tour of the Dominion. The appearances in Hawera will he amongst the last playings of his New Zealand tour.
Mr J. C. Cawsey, manager and secretary of the Hawera Gas Co., left for Auckland this afternoon to attend the annual Conference of Gas Companies’ delegates and Mr E. A. Pacey, a member of the directorate "’ill leave tomorrow on the same mission.
