SOUTH TARANAKI FIGURES. Returns of births, deaths and mar* r rages registered throughout South Taranaki tor the month of July, 1928, show an increase all round, the increases being seven births, three deaths, and nine marriages, - as compared witli the corresponding month last year. Details of registration at the respective post offices, with the figures for the corresponding period last year shown in parentheses, are as' follow:

Hawera.—Births 23 (13), deaths 12 (9), marriages 10 (7). Eltham. —Births 6 (7), deaths 2 (2), marriages 2 (1). Manaia. —Births 3 (4), deafly 2 (1), marriages 1 (1). Kaponga.—Births 9 (10), deaths 1 (2), marriages 1 (O). Opnnake —Births 10 (4), deaths 2 (0), marriages 4 (2). Baton.—Births 2 (4), deaths 2 (2), marriages 3 (2). Waver ley.—Births 1 (5), deaths 0 (2). marriages 3 (2). 'Grand Totals.—Births 54 (47), deaths 21 (IS), marriages 24 (15).
