PARLIAMENT IN -SESSION. LICENSING BILL BEING PREPARED. . (Bv Telegraph—Special to The Star.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 1. A caucus of Government members was held to-day for the discussion of sessional business. An amendment to the Public Works A'et and a consolidation of that legislation will be introduced this week, also, a consolidation of the Post Office, statutes. It is reported that the Licensing Bill has beeii prepared by the Prime Minister and is in the hands of the law draftsmen, though it is unlikely that it will reach final shape for introduction until after the financial debate has been completed.
