Mrs Veitch has been 'shooting very consistently of late, and her last shoot of 9~ nett wi'l reduce her handicap. The veteran, Peter Petersen, started the season very indifferently, but is now coming along fast. If he can beep up the form shown in his latest trial even the champion, L. Uttinger, will not stop him. • E. Booth .is putting in a lot of hard work, but funds it difficult to get over the 95’s. Miss K. Petersen, a young member from tin? Hawera High School, is going right out to beat her father, who has been coaching the younger .shots to good advantage. _ Mi-ss T. Ingram, the lady champion, is very consistent, and cannot be kept down.

6., Handing needs his handicap just now. but is a steady- goer and wall get in the money soon.

L. Rush is. a. good tryer, but could do with a bit more practice on the new targets. RiiLs are harder to get now. The two Miss Raes are nob in form ji'st now owing to illness, but when ! they are right- they will make their | presence felt. A. Elgar has had a spot in his eye or a loose .screw in his -gun, but, judg-n.-t by his last -practice, we will hear, a last more, of him in the future. O. Micke'isen is very shaky at times, but when he settles -down he can. go with the best- of them. The 'junior®’’ trophy has only just started!. A .special match is to be fired between the club members and a team from the staff of Messrs. Geo. Sy.me and Co., Ltd.
