T>UiBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers vested in it in th'.Tt (behalf by "'The bating Act, 1925,” ami the amendments thereto, “The Counties Act, 1920.” and the amendments thereto, and the “Hospital and Charitable Institutions Ach, 1920,” it is the intention of the Council of the County of Egmont at the Ordinary Monthly Meeting- of the Council, to be held at the County Chambers, Opunake on Tuesday, 14th day of August, 1928, to make and levy the following rates on the Capital Value of all rateable property within the respective ridings of the County for the period of twelve months, from the first day of April, 1928, to the 31st day of March, 1929, namely:— OEO RIDING—A General Rate of two-pence halfpenny (21 d) in the £ and a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of one-eighth pence ((d) in the £. OPUA RIDING—A General Rate of two and seven-eighths pone? (2(d) in the £ and a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of oneeighth pence ((d) in the £. RAHOTU RIDING—A General Rate of two-pence halfpenny (2(d) in the £ and a Hospital and (Ch'aritable Aid Rate of one-eighth pence ((d) in the £. NEW ALL RIDING —A General Rate of two and seven-eighths pence (2(d) in the £ and a Hospital and Charitable Aid Rate of oneeighth pence ((d) in the £. 'And that such rates shall become due and payable in one sum, at the County Office, Opunake, on the 28th day of August, 1928, to the County Clerk and Treasurer. The Valuation.
