A young man, named Bernard McKenna, 33 yeans of age, employed on a farm, on the Glover Road, was kicked by a horse last Thursday afternoon, receiving injuries which necessitated his removal to the Hawera Hospital, where he died last evening. An inquest was held this afternoon. Returns for produce in North Taranaki, for June 11th to July 21st, which is the first month for the Taranaki producers’ Freezing Company’s year, show a good increase in . both butter and cheese. Compared with the corresponding period last year they show an increase of 854 boxes of butter, and 851 crates of cheese. On a butter-fat basis, the increase is 98,0151bs or 39.3 per cent.
