The leading machines at the end of the first day at Renfrew were:—• Flight Officer Atcherlev (Gloster Grebe), forty minutes fifty-six ‘seconds start', arrived at five hours nineteen minutes twenty-seven seconds p.m. Captain Broad (De Haviland H Moth), ninety-four minutes thirty-five seconds start, arrived five hours twenty minutes fifty-three seconds'. W. Hope, the holder (De Haviland -Moth), one hour fifty-five minutes forty seconds start, five hours twenty-seven minutes nineteen seconds. C Unwin (Bristol machine), thirtyfour minutes forty-one seconds start, five hours thirty-four minutes twelve seconds.
