DR. CLEARY INJURED.

VICTIM OF MOTOR, ACCIDENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, July 22. The Rio man Clatliolie Bishop of Auckland Dr Oleary, and Father Martindale an eminent Jesuit who is visiting Tsew Zealand, suffered injuries on a motor collision while on the way from T.au.po to Hamilton to-day, .and are now in the Waikato Hospital. > Dr. Oleary is cut on the chin and leg, his dliest is bruised and he is suffering from shock. Father Martindale. has cuts on the face which bled, profusely. The car had reached a. corner leading to a declivity at Tamahere, between Cambridge and Hamilton, with Dr. Oleary driving, when it collided with another car driven by a farmer named A. EL, Discombe. Both vehicles were badly damaged. Discombe and a passenger,'Miss Hulnie, also suffered cuts and abrasions.. Dr. Oleary and Father Martindale were attended by a. local doctor before their removal to hospital. The full effect of the accident on Dr. Oleary will not be knonw for some 'lays.

HTR INJURIES SERIOUS BUT NOT DANGEROUS. HAMILTON. July 23. A hospital report this morning shows that. Dr. Cleary’s injuries are serious but not dangerous. Father Martindale's injuries are less serious.
