WEDDING.
AIUNDT—SWAN
The Presbyterian Church, Hawera, on July 10 was the stfene of a»quiet but pretty wedding, rVhen Elma Leah (Doily)', youngest daughter of. Air. and Airs. G. Swan, Fraser Road, was united in holy matrimony to Frederick Henry, third son of Air. and Airs. F. Alundt, of Kaimiro. The- Rev. Air: Evans was the officiating clergyman. The- bricle, who was given sxwsfy by her father, looked charming in an ivbry georgette gown, heavily beaded, over pale pink crepe de chine. She wore the customary tulle veil trimmed with orange blossom, and carried a bouquet of white and pink flowers. Miss Alabel Alundt, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid, and was dressed in a pale pipk georgette frock, trimmed with creme- lace, and wore a-smart pink bandeau round her head. Little Betty Yvonne Cumiignham, niece of the bride, looked dainty in a pink crepe de chine frock, with rosebud trims’ ming, and carried a basket of flowers. Mr. Lionel Swan, brother of the bride, acted, as- best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Savoy tea. rooms. Many presents, both valuable and useful, were received, also numerous telegrams. Later Air. and Airs. Alundt left by car for a motor trip of the North* Island, the latter travelling in a. frock of champagne silk mnrocain, with hat to tone, and a smart coat heavily trimmed with fur.
