Mnnaia members of the women s division of the New Zealand Farmers Union met on Thursday in the down Hall, and a. local branch with a membership of 24 was formed. Mrs. Sutherland was elected president of the branch and Miss M. Patterson secreCarter, president of the* South Taranaki branch of the women s division, addressed the meeting.
