CHURCHES FAVOUR 'SCHEME -By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 20. The secretary reported to the executive meeting of the Associated 'Chambers of 'Commerce that favourable replies had .been received from the archbishops of . the‘.Anglican and. Catholic Churches and the Council of 'Churches concerning the fixed dalte for Easter. A letter had 'been sent to the PrimeMinister urging .this reform, particularly in view of the passing of -the tßill in England in the same direction.
