•WIMJLILNiGTO'N, July 12. Despite] strong representations in favour of revising the system of hospital contributions in view of the heavy demands made by hospital boards on contributing authorities, Parliament will not be asked to deal with the matter.

It is authoritatively stated that the (financial basis of hospital and charitable aid having been revised by Parliament several years ago when the Government’s subsidy scale was improved, the system cannot be interfered with.
