Tt is reported that the army is asking for one hundred and fifty thousandyen in next Budget to employ gendarmes and non-commissioned officers, who will co-operate with the police m the /prevention of dangerous thoughts or radicalism in military barracks. ' This is- part of a- nation-wide scheme for the creation of a huge corps of special officers to deal with the general suppression of Clonimuniism.
