RECENT KAPONGA CASES
FURTHER. REMAND GRANTED. At the Eltham Magistrate’s Court this morning, before Air. J. AV. Stubbs, J.P., Harley Hector Henderson and James Harold Adam, of Kaponga, were charged, on remand from Juno 19, with the theft of £125 and £lO2 2s respectively, the property of Newton .King, Limited. Detective Meiklejohn made application for a further remand to July 13 at Eltham. No objection was raised by Mr. A. A. Stewart, who appeared for accused under instruction by Air. A. Coleman (Stratford), and tlie remand was accordingly granted. Bail was renewed in each ease— Henderson in bis own recognisance of £251) and one surety for £SOO, and Adam £IOO and one surety for £IOO.
