EXPEDITION" 'TO KALAHARI DESERT. (United Fress Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) CAPETOWN, July 2. . An Aincrcian mission under the leadership of Dr, 'Cadlc, of Colorado, h'as arrived equipped for an expedition to the Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert, hoping to prove Cadlc’s theory that the Kalahari is the cradle of the human race. He regards Asia as too inhospitable, while the Kalahari was once fertile, and he contends that there man lived primitivltly through centuries without interference. The expedition starts from Mafeking with a cruising Radius of 1000 miles.
