HAWERA NOTES. (By “Limited.”) The heavy rain prevented any work on the grass track this morning, and exercise'* work was performed on the sand. All the horses intended for Wellington, with perhaps the exception of Orazone, are well forward and, considering their recent performances, have been fairly handicapped, but racing uiTder the 9.0 minimum may ijpset calculations. However, Hawera. promise: to he worthily represented.
