DEATH OF MR. J. LORD AT NEW PLYMOUTH. Mr. James Lord, aged 54 years, who was seriously injured when a service car driven by Mr. James Fowler, went over a 25 foot bank near the. Mangorei factorv, on the evening of Wednesday 20th June, died at the New Plymouth hospital last evening. The late Mr. Lord was well known as a commercial traveller all over New Zealand, and at the time of the accident was in the employ of Messrs. Quane and Co., of Christchurch.
