LADLES’ WEAR.. There are few who do not know that the sign D. and; A. stands for corsets. This firm, which als showing its goods at the show, was born, in 1808, and since then has grown to be the largest of its kind in the British Empire. The firm employs 1500 people, and its products are sold all over the world.
It is essential, of course, in the building of such an industry, that the firm must obtain the confidence of its buyers, and this the world’s largest conset firm has undoubtedly done. The D. and A. and the La Diva corsets are known the world over, and such is the popularity of the goods produced that sales are steadily increasing. The La Dominion Conset Company, despite its humble beginning, now holds pride of place in the industry.
