HONOUR. FOR MR W. J. BRIGHT, OF HAWFtRA.

(By Telegraph—Special to The Star.) WELLINGTON, June 25. 'Members of the New Zealand Dental Association, .at their annual conference, sleeted Dr. J. Y. Warren, of Auckland, as president, and the out-going president, Air G. L. Taylor, nominated asi vice-president and president-elect Mr W. J. Blight, of Hawern. Mr Bright, be stated, had long been a keen supporter and worker for the association. The motion was .seconded by Mr T. A. Hunter, and there were no other nominations, Mr Bright being declared elected amid applause. He expressed the hope that he might be able to make nip for a lack of the oratoriol gifts of his predecessors by an enthusiasm, for the interests of ’ the dental profession, for he realised the great work it was doing, not only for dentists, but for the people of New Zealand.
