A Press Association message from Hamilton states that apparently Ala* L. : S. W. Brown, of Hamilton,, .inherited £18,750 in addition to the £lo,oo'’ from the estate of Air Charles Brown. The sum of £18,750 conies from another uncle, William James Brown, who died in August and left £300,000, a quarter whereof was to bo divided between throe nephews' and a nieciei in New Zealand. iMr Brawn stated, an Saturday morning that this legacy was not absolutely assured, but he considered it iso' according to legal advice. Earlier messages stated that Brown, who is a> labour agent, was one of the beneficiaries under the £50,000 will case’ cabled; from London. A London inesKagie stated that the Brown wili case had l>een settled. The four children of Brown’e brother, who is residing in New Zejialnd. will each receive one-fifth of the estate, which, is valued at* over- £50,000.
