What is believed to be the greatest mailbag robbery in history was discovered at London, when the American i mail by the steamer Leviathan was being sorted. Though the seals were intact, registered letters and packages were found out and rifled. About cue hundred out of 3253 bags had been tampered with. The amount involvedcan not be ascertained until the losses have been reported.
