OPERA HOUSE—TO-NIGHT. SPECIAL WEEK-END ATTRACTION “SPOILERS OF~THE WEST” AND “THE WIZARD.” A special double feature attraction will be presented at the Opera House this evening, headed by the Metro-Goldwvn-Maver special “Sx>oilers of the West,” featuring the screen s greatest outdoor star, “Tim McCoy. All the elements of high-class and actionful outdoor drama are exquisitely blended in this most recent McCoy feature, and those who see it will be glad that the outdoor drama of the screen has risen to such a high standard. Marjorie Daw heads a notable supporting cast in a finely-acted role. William Fairbanks, Charles Thurston, Aaron Edwards, A. Calender and Chief Rig Tree, a full-blooded Iroquois Indian, also do very vivid, pleasing work.

Based on the sensational French play “Ba.lax,” by Gaston I/eroux, Fox Films’ “The Wizard,” with Edmund Lowe in the feature role, will be the second attraction on to-night’s programme. Edmund Lowe gives the best, performance of his career since his phenomenal performance ns Sergeant Quirk in “What Price Glory” as the reporter who solves the strange mystery which hovers over the lives of Judge Webster and his daughter. Gustave von Seyffertitz, as the eccentric scientist bent on vengeance upon the judge and his daughter, is truly menacing as he trains a huge ape: to do his bidding. A fine cast of actors make this picture: an entertainment of a superlative kind.

The box plan is at Miss Blake’s sweet shop.
