TOKAORA.

(From Our Own Correspondent.)

AVEDNESDIAY’S SOCIAD EVENING. There was a large number of local people and visitors to the euchre party and dance on Wednesday, no 'less than 130 couples gracing the floor in the dances and £2O being taken at the door. Good music was supplied by Butler’s orchestra (four instruments) There were fifty-six players in the euchre and the prizes were won by Airs Freyne 1, Airs A. Griffon (after a play off with Airs Bloor) 2; and Alessrs AV. Butler 1, and J. Scott 2. Curiously enough the games won were the same, 14 and 13 respectively. An excellent supper was dispensed by the ladies’, committee and altogether the evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
