Mix one and one-half pounds of sugar with three ounces of Bournville Cocoa, and sift. Add twelve ounces of ground almonds, a teaspoonful of vanilla and the whites of three eggs. Mix all together in a bowl into a stiff paste, drop upon buttered paper, and bake in a moderate oven. Feather-weight Chocolate Pudding. Ingredients: Four ounces of flour. Four ounces of breadcrumbs. Four ounces of sugar. Four • ounces of chopped suet. Two small tablespoonful of Bournville Cocoa. Two teaspoonful of baking powder. One egg. Milk to mix. Vanilla essence. Method: Mix dry ingredients, add beaten egg, milk and essence, and steam in a greased basin for two hours. Serve with custard sauce.
