p QUITE EAST ENOUGH. SCOTTISH UNION -EXPLAINS ITS ATTITUDE. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) Received 12.25 p.m. to-day. LONDON, June 12. Tire Scottish Rugby Union has eircularwsedi it.c clubs concerning its attitude towards Dominion football. It states that the committee disapprove® of the financial arrangements between the New South Wales fifteen and France, and nliso considers .the terms of the New Zealanders’ visit in 1924 contrary to previous agreements. The committee views favourably the organisation of Rugby in the. Dominions, but cannot he a party to any agreement, whereby any Dominion has anything to say about the organisation of the game in the Mother Country. The principal desire of the Dominions’ representatives was -to render the game faster, in order to S!3.cuire increased receipts. The committee considered the game fast enough and interesting enough. It should not be forgotten that Rugby originated in the schools. The committee would never permit dt to become' so tiring that schoolboys could not play it without undue fatigue.
